1) Socializing with my friends, visiting my family (grandparents), and playing sports. These are three things in order of importance that I truly really miss from my old normal. The main thing that I miss about socializing with my friends is just having fun with each other and the constant laughs. It is not the same thing online. The thing I miss the most about visiting my family is not being able to give them hugs and go their houses. Lastly, the thing I miss about playing sports is the competitive aspect it has to it since playing alone doesn’t have that. 2) There is only one thing I really do not really miss is going to school every day. Surprisingly, I find myself way more attentive and concentrated at home rather than at school. However, even though school is being done at home I am still trying to follow my routine is order to stay mentally and physically healthy. Furthermore, one thing I do not miss also is spending my money stupidly on unhealthy fast foods that I do not need. 3) As things will go back to normal in order to bring back the things that I miss without the things I do not miss, I think that is just a question of really getting used to my new lifestyle and to control myself to eliminate the things that I didn’t like about it. At the end it all ends up just to be self-control and in my opinion quarantine is helping with us due to the fact that we don’t really have a choice to stop to do the things that we don’t miss from our old routine. Nevertheless, it is definitely important to bring back the things we do miss and that will come with organization and self-control. 4) For the past few weeks I have been trying my hardest to keep the exact routine I had before it in order to facilitate the switch back. Technically, going back to normal for me should be a breeze since I really been trying hard to conserve my routine. However, there is some stuff that I got to ameliorate in my routine such as my nutrition. It is way easier at home to control what you are eating and how much you eat. Once we go back normal in order to continue this healthy habit I think I won’t have the choice but to start to prepare and plan my meals at least the day before in order to keep this habit. In conclusion, I think that the key to have a smooth transition is to prepare and be organize from the start of it and conserve your routine as it was prior to the confinement.
